Chicago master bathroom rebuilt after another contractor's water damage - new waterproofing, a frameless glass walk-in shower, double vanity, and large-format gray porcelain by ADS Building & Remodeling.
This Chicago master bathroom came to us after a renovation by another contractor failed – incorrect tile work and inadequate waterproofing behind the shower had allowed water to intrude, risking long-term moisture damage. We took the room back to the studs, corrected every underlying issue, and rebuilt it the right way with a complete waterproofing system throughout all wet areas.
The finished space is wrapped in large-format gray marble-look porcelain, with a frameless glass walk-in shower and a frosted privacy panel, a custom tiled bench, a recessed storage niche, and a hexagon marble mosaic floor. A floating double vanity with quartz countertops and dual undermount sinks, a wide custom mirror, and updated lighting complete the retreat – clean lines, soft gray tones, and a spa-like finish that is fully code-compliant and built to last.
