This Wilmette bathroom was taken down to the studs and rebuilt in a soft, sophisticated gray palette. Large-format marble-look tile with gentle veining wraps the tub and walls, giving the room a seamless, high-end backdrop.
We set a clean white alcove tub against it and dressed the plumbing in polished-nickel fixtures, right down to a knurled handle detail that rewards a second look. It is a restrained, elegant bathroom, the kind of quiet quality that holds up for years.
