How much does a living room remodel cost?
It depends on scope more than any other room — a fireplace feature wall with new floors is a very different project from a full open-concept rebuild with built-ins. That's why we don't publish a one-size range: you get an itemized written estimate within 48 hours of the free in-home visit, line by line.

How long does it take?
Most living room projects run 2–4 weeks: feature wall, built-ins, flooring, lighting and paint. Structural changes (removing a wall, vaulting a ceiling) add engineering and inspection time — the written schedule covers it before we start.

Can you open the living room up to the kitchen?
Yes — that's one of our most common structural projects. We handle the engineering, the permit, and the properly sized beam. The 'one big room' layout is usually more achievable than homeowners expect.

Will the rest of the house be livable during the work?
Yes. Plastic containment around the work zone, floor protection from the front door in, and a clean sweep at the end of every day. Most clients are surprised how contained it stays.
